We are looking to add to our smart, fun-loving, hard working staff this summer! We have openings in concessions, game day staff, and as our very own mascot!

One staff training session is required for all employees (new and returning). Expect the session to be approximately 1 hour and it will be paid.

Overview
Candidate will work in the Fieldhouse store focusing on a variety of tasks. You will be in charge of the batting cages each day which will include: checking customers in, assisting them with getting the supplies and setting up cages/machines, and shutting down the facility at the end of the day. You will also sell Bend Elks tickets during the day to customers over the phone and in person. The storefront also is a baseball pro shop you will help run, sell items, and keep clean/organized. You may be asked to assist in other tasks while working.
Job Preferences
Able to work during summer and school year
Summer hours Noon-5pm | School hours weekdays 2pm-6pm Saturday 11am-4pm
Age 16+ to allow a full shift to be worked while in compliance with Oregon Minor Labor Laws
Candidate is detail oriented, self-motivated, organized, communicative, and dependable

Fieldhouse Store Staff

Candidate will provide entertainment as our mascot, Vinnie the Elk, at all home games, plus potential playoff games, and outside appearances in Central Oregon. During games you will meet and greet fans, work closely with promotional team for on-field games, take pictures with fans, and work to enhance the all-around game experience and atmosphere.

Overview

Must be enthusiastic and portray high energy at all times as Vinnie the Elk.
Dance experience preferred.
Must preserve the identity of the mascot without deviating from established character including: body language/mannerisms, attitude, fan interaction and team representation
Overview
Two staff members will be needed to run our baseball analytic systems (Pointstreak, TrackMan, Synergy) during all Bend Elks home games. Pre-season training and certification will be provided and required before the first game on May 31st. On game days staff members will be expected to set up before game all cameras and digital systems, in game they will run the programs in the Press Box, and post-game will include shutting down systems, taking down cameras, uploading digital content, and dispersing any requested reports.
Job Requirements
Must have significant baseball understanding and knowledge.
Must have a flexible schedule - strongly preferred availability for all home games.
Must be able to sustain hot temperatures.
Must be able to climb up and down a ladder unassisted.
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
Due to work extending past 9pm, applicants must be 16+ to comply with state minor labor laws.
Baseball Analytics
Overview
Rover staff will work directly with our fans to work on enhancing overall experience. This can vary from parking assistance, ticket taking, seat usher, stadium maintenance and cleaning, fan engagement, and other general tasks. Your job will vary day-to-day but will focus on developing a positive experience at our stadium and games and helping all aspects of the stadium run smoothly. Work will be available in the morning and at night. Rover staff will also work to help prepare the stadium for the next game the morning after games. This is a great first job opportunity!

Concessions Staff
Overview
Concessions staff will work as a team to prepare, cook, and serve our menu to our fans. In order to do this, they will assist in the set-up, daily clean up, and preparations of all concession related areas and items. This may include providing a deep clean periodically throughout the season. To best aid in a smooth service of the menu, concession staff will help alert of any low or out of stock food, beverage, and other concession related items to kitchen management. This staff works as a close team in order to provide a positive meal experience to all our fans.

Overview
Interns often end up filling a variety of rolls. We try to design each internship to primarily focus on what you are wanting to do in your career and what interests you. Will work with you to help get any college credits possible for internship.
We are specifically looking for a social media internship. This internship would include creating game day and team related graphics, planning and actively posting on our social media sites, and interacting with fans through social media.

Internship
Overview
Promotional Staff would work directly with our fans and execute the on field promotions. This would involve finding fans for these events, getting supplies needed ready for the event, and executing the event on field in the allotted time frame. This events include but are not limited to: national anthem, bat boy/girl, first pitch, Sunriver Chip Off Challenge, dizzy bat race, water balloon toss, etc. This staff member may also be assigned social media duties in games.
